Item Description
Marvel at the art and science of the automobile with four passes to the Tampa Bay Automobile Museum!
The Tampa Bay Automobile Museum features a unique collection of vintage vehicles that demonstrate special creativity and imagination in their history and engineering.
The collection ranges from the world’s very first self-propelled vehicle, the 1770 Fardier de Cugnot, to the innovative stainless-steel DeLorean of the 1980s.
The museum's 60 rare and unusual automobiles include models from Tracta, Citroën, Panhard, Voisin, Tatra, Aero, DKW, Auto Union, Mercedes, Alvis, Allard, BSA, DeLorean, Willys Knight and Ruxton.
Each vehicle in the collection was chosen based on the engineering achievements that made it an important part of the evolution of the automobile. The automobiles housed in the museum galleries represent some of the finest and earliest approaches to aerodynamic design, front wheel drive, rear engines and unibody construction as well as pioneering uses of materials. These are the cars that set the standards for the engineering of automobiles today.
Any car enthusiast is sure to enjoy this unique museum!
