Artist Statement: Traditionally the three graces in Greek Mythology are:
• Aglaia represented elegance, brightness and splendor.
• Thalia represented youth, beauty and good cheer.
• Euphrosyne represented mirth and or joyfulness.
I have always been inspired by the three graces. Their beauty, and spirit. We all know someone that is one of the “Graces”. I relate them to my friends.
Artist Biography: Carolyn is a plein aire artist. She also paints portraits, still life and genre. Recent awards include Catherine Lorillard Award at National Arts Club and the Jane Peterson Memorial Award at the Salmagundi Club, New York City- both associations she is a juried artist member. She is also a life member of the Art Students League and Marblehead Art Association. She is a signature artist member of the Hudson Valley Art Association and Fellow Member of the American Artists Professional League, Portrait Artists of America, Copley Society of Art, Rockport Art Association and Most importantly, North Shore Art Association.

Pick-up of purchased cods will be on Thursday evening, July 5. Winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.
If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
Any cod purchased via "Buy Now" will remain on display at the hosting business through the end of the auction, and will be available for pick-up as detailed in the winning bidder notification email.
If winning bidder has not picked up cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
