This is a hands-on tour, during which you will have an opportunity to make nano particles and then view them with an electron microscope to get a glimpse at the nano world.
Professor Belcher is a recipient of the 2004 McArthur Foundation “genius” grant and numerous other awards, honors, and accolades for her groundbreaking research on using biological materials to assemble nanoscale structures for batteries, solar cells, clean fuels, medical diagnostics, and more.
