Bid now on four tickets you can use to see one or more of the plays featured as part of Dorset Playhouse's 2018 summer season.
The season kicks off with Cry It Out, directed by Marc Masterson (June 21-July 14). The comedy looks at the dilemma of returning to work after childbirth and the ways in which class impacts parenthood and friendship.
Following will be Dominique Morisseau’s Skeleton Crew (July 19-Aug. 4), about a makeshift family of autoworkers at an auto plant in Detroit during the Recession.
Next will be Kate Hamill’s Pride and Prejudice (Aug. 9-25), adapted from the novel by Jane Austen, about a young woman facing pressures from her family and society to secure a suitable marriage.
The season will conclude with Holland Taylor’s Ann (Aug. 29-Sept. 1), about Texas govern Ann Richards, whose passionate commitment enriched the lives of her family, friends, and followers. Jayne Atkinson will star.
