Item Description
Mere words cannot describe this vintage bust of the Doberman - it just becomes more beautiful and rarer with age. If you owned this treasure - everybody and their dog would be sure to comment.
Edwina Talley is no longer producing her art as she once did and we can find nothing anywhere on the internet – seems unimaginable but true! We can’t tell you much about this gorgeous Doberman other than physical attributes. The head is of metal (likely a bronze) and the base is made of wood (visible grain). The head measure 5” tall and deep and 4” wide at front view. The piece is signed on the back of the neck ©Edwina Talley-80 which likely indicates that the piece was produced in 1980. The base measures 3 ¼” by 3 ¾”.
This is indeed a piece of the history of Doberman Pinschers and is outstandingly beautiful!! Make it yours!
This really striking piece of Doberman art is donated to DPCA Rescue endeavors by SND’s own Case Coordinator, Irene Jansen. Irene is also donating the cost of shipping, so bid HIGH and bid often. You'd have spent that extra on shipping - so go ahead bid again!
