Item Description
This gavel is made from white oak barrel staves reclaimed from the production of a true American Spirit. A concurrent resolution adopted by the U.S. Congress in 1964 declared bourbon to be a product of the U.S. and prohibited importation of bourbon whiskey into the nation. Shaped like an oak cask, this gavel was finished with American bourbon—a true American product.
Grand Exalted Ruler Malcolm J. McPherson, Jr., will use this unique gavel to close the Monday General Session at the Elks National Convention.
After the closing ceremony, we will ship the gavel to the winning bidder, along with a certificate of authenticity signed by GER McPherson and Grand Secretary Bryan Klatt.
