This interactive museum promotes free expression and the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, while tracing the evolution of communication, expriencing the sotries of yesterday and today.
And . . . if you are enamoared by photography, the Newseum's Pulitzer Prize Photographs Gallery showcases photos from every Pulitzer Prize-winning entry since 1942, when the award was first given.
The Newseum Certificate can be exchanged for tickets up to one full year from the date of issue. Expired certificates are not redeemable, do not have monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Newseum is closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
