Slipware, Slip-trailed Redware Pottery
Simple, slip-trailed reware vessels were produced at several locations in the Anglo-American colonies after 1750, initally by German potters who imigrated to Pennsylvania, New England and NOrth Carolina.
The ismple geometric band and loop decoration is often referred to as "Philadelphia style".
This set includes 2 beer steins, a sugar dish and creamer. Produced locally at S&J Pottery.
