Item Description
The stoneware Bonnet Bowl combines hand-building and wheel techniques to create a sculptural yet functional piece. The bowl's underside is unglazed to show the color and texture of the stoneware. The bowl achieves its final color in a gas reduction kiln fired to 2350 F. Only one glaze is used which changes color depending on its thickness: a lovely blue-grey where the glaze pools, and a light yellow/rich sandy color where the glaze is thinner.
