Carol Odell has a BFA from Tufts University after studying painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and has been painting for decades. She has worked as an art teacher, a graphic designer, a textile designer and a photographer. For over forty years, she and her husband Tom have owned and operated the Odell Studio Gallery at 423 Main Street, Chatham. She is a member and exhibits regularly with the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, Printmakers of Capoe Cod, the Monotype Guild of New England, and 21 in Truro. Her works are in private, corporate and museum collections. She is represented in Deborah Forman's 2015 book, "Cape Cod Contemporary Artists: On Abstraction" and "Encaustic Art in the Twenty-First Century", by Lee and Rooney.
