“My subject is light. I paint to create presence, a tactical feeling, a sense of specific time and space.” A master painter of life and inspired teacher, Nadeau balances powerful color and generous texture with classical form. Her vibrant paintings are in CCMoA’s permanent collection and corporate and private collections nationwide. Her work is the cover art on Painting Shapes and Edges, The Pastel Journal, Painting the Impressionist Landscape, The Pastel Artists Bible and Pastel School published her images. She earned prestigious signature memberships in Pastel Society of America, Maryland Pastel Society, Connecticut Pastel Society and Pastel Painter Society of Cape Cod. She is a Cape Cod plein air painter and an original 21 in Truro. See her pastel paintings at Left Bank in Wellfleet and her oil paintings at Trees Place Gallery in Orleans on Cape Cod.
