Item Description
Hand-Made Ceramic forms
I began working with clay when I was in high school. Almost immediately, I knew it was something I wanted to pursue. After graduating from Nauset Regional High School, I enrolled at Cape Cod Community College where I earned an Associates Degree in Visual Arts. After a few years I decided to transfer to Massachusetts College of Art and Design. After I received a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art Ceramics, I moved back to my home town of Brewster.
Living in the big city allowed me to acknowledge the things I appreciate about living on Cape Cod. While I was away at college, I missed taking quiet walks in the woods, observing the changing coastline, and being able to look up at the sky full of stars. This pitcher and mug set represents cycles, weather, time, and new beginnings.
