Item Description
Pendant size: 1.5" x 1" wide
Fine Silver, lab-grown diamond; 16" Italian round Omega solid sterling chain
Kim Rumberger is a Hyannis jewelry artist, and metal clay & jewelry instructor. Her one-of-a-king jewelry and sculpture pieces are fashioned from metal clay, which is powdered metal suspended in a methylcellulose base and water. When it is designed, dried and fired, the binder burns away and it becomes solid metal. Most of her work is with fine silver (.999 pure) and bronze. She often incorporates natural elements in her designs. "Beautiful Dew Drop" was inspired by the newly budding plants near her Art Shanty at Bismore Park on Hyannis Harbor. The leaf is from one of the verbena plants and because it was a rainy Spring, Kim placed a diamond on the leaf as an embellishment.
