Item Description

Let your imagination lead you in the use of this handspun and dyed yarn!

This yarn is half 100% Shetland wool, roving dyed by Sheep Spot, a Canadian Dyer. Donor plied it with her own blend of rare wool breeds, including Gulfcoast, Shetland, Castlemilk, and an unknown wool.

2 ply, 7 oz, 400 yards.

A statement from donor, Lili Christensen:

I discovered North House Folk School a few years ago, on line. I received catalogs by mail, reading them deeply, wishing I could come. I saved my money, and this summer I made it a priority to attend the basket week. Being there, I wanted to contribute somehow. Hearing about the auction, I offered to send skeins of my handspun yarn, once I returned home, to Colorado.

My thanks and best wishes to those who purchase and knit my offerings. Thank you for supporting the folk school.

Item Special Note

Yardage measured before washing the skein to set it, so final length might differ
