Item Description
You will receive two bottles each of the 2012, 2013 and 2014 Allure Reserve Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast.
The 2012 is a Double Gold Winner, 2017 American Fine Wine Invitational. Charming on the nose, flavors of layered intensity in the glass, and finishing with undeniable satisfaction. Crisp apples and Bosc pear, accented with a touch of Mandarin orange evolve in the glass.
The 2013 has expressive ripe apple, fresh apricot and baking bread notes with hints of almond butter and beeswax. The understated, medium-bodied palate is evolving nicely into a savory character, with satiny texture and long, toasty finish. 90 points from the Wine Advocate.
The 2014 received 90 points from Wine Enthusiast. This is made from grapes grown within the Petaluma Gap, now an appellation of its own. Heady notions of apple and pear rise on the nose, with seasonings of nutmeg and butterscotch emanating from the toasted oak. The lemon curd like richness is well-contained. This wine is generally available through allocation only.
Item Special Note
