ABOUT YOUR HOSTS

Under Canvas® began when Sarah's love affair with the African safari experience married Jacob’s talent for design. Together they decided to create a glamping company that would serve as a bridge to the outdoors in a very unique way. The Under Canvas® brand was founded in 2009 with the opening of Sage Safaris, an all-inclusive Montana safari experience. Under Canvas® luxury camping experiences were established when we opened our first glamping resort just outside of Yellowstone National Park. In the years since, Jacob’s unique luxury canvas and wood tent and tipi designs began to travel further and further from their Montana home taking on events across the country and into Canada.

Day One (Dinner Included*)

Arrive at Under Canvas Zion and check into your cabin-style Deluxe Tent. The Deluxe comes complete with a King Size Bed, a private bathroom with shower, sink, flushing toilet, and a raised wood floor stretching out to a private patio with deck lounge chairs. When your group is ready to eat, walk on over to our onsite restaurant and indulge in a rustic dinner while enjoying the breathtaking views surrounding the camp.

Day Two (Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, and Dinner Included)

Good morning! No trip to Zion is complete without an exhilarating guided hike with a local expert! Take in the scenery at walking pace with the same elements of adventure. Make your way onto the peaceful desert trails by foot with time to take it all in. Experience canyon walls and overlooks, explore rivers and waterfalls, catch the wildflowers or autumn tree colors at their peak, and savor the spectacular mountain views. Enjoy a nice lunch back at the camp at our restaurant. Enjoy an afternoon Jeep Safari trip. This is a private 3-hour jeep tour for your group where you will see 2500-foot cliffs to reflect the sunset in fiery pinks, oranges and purples. We will stop several times at our favorite photo spots as well as anywhere you ask us to. This tour is very custom; your jeep guide will be happy to discuss with you upon arrival where you want to go for your fun adventure! Come back and enjoy a fabulous dinner at the camp and unwind for the night.

Day Three (Breakfast and Picnic Lunch Included)

Enjoy some breakfast before checking out and beginning the trek home, always treasuring the memories made in Utah’s incredible desert. Don’t forget to grab your picnic lunch before heading out! Safe travels home!!
