2014. An even year. Must mean it is was time for another SF Giants Championship! And indeed it was, following in the footsteps of '10 and '12. In 2010, the Giants became the darlings of the baseball World, winning the NL West on the last day of the season, upending the Atlanta Braves in 5 games in the NLDS, defeating the heavily favored Phillies in 6 games in the NLCS, and crushing the powerful Texas Rangers in 5 games to win the Giants first World Series Championship in 56 years (and first ever in San Francisco!). In 2012 they did it again, this time fighting off six elimination games on their way to the World Series. But just when Giants fans thought they couldn't take any more, the Club confounded just about everyone with their dominating 4-Game Sweep of the favored Detroit Tigers. 2014? Just another Championship, this one from the Wildcard position and including an unforgettable Game 7 win on the road against the AL Champs KC Royals. 3 World Series Championships in 5 years! Can you say "DYNASTY?"
