Item Description
We all know Tiger's story...both good and bad. The son of a African-American father and a Thai mother, he was a college star at Stanford and became the only three-time (1994–96) U.S. Amateur Champion before turning professional in 1997. And in his first season, he won the 1997 Masters in a runaway. Tiger won the PGA Championship and simply dominated golf in 1999. In 2000, Woods won the U.S. and British opens and PGA Championship, setting or tying several records in the process and becoming the youngest golfer to achieve a modern career Grand Slam. Woods's victory at the Masters in 2001 made him the first golfer to win all four major professional championships in a row. Today, Tiger has won 14 Majors in all and over 75 Tour events. Impressive! But as we all know, personal troubles and injuries took over and Tiger's golf career stalled. Will he ever get back on track become the dominating player he once was? Hard to say. But love him or hate him, there is no denying that a golf tournament is always more interesting when Tiger is in contention. This classic 11x14 photograph is from his 2008 US Open victory, a famous shot of a pumped up Tiger. Part of our unsigned SGA Signature Series, this very cool display includes an Exclusive inset plate with laser-engraved facsimile Tiger Woods autograph along with "TIGER!" Sports Gallery Quality Framed with black wood moulding, this is a timeless piece of Sports Art from one of Golf's...and Sports'...All-Time Greats.
