Known for its colorful, smart New American cuisine, the New Scenic Café will provide an intimate family-style dinner for you and your guests (up to 10 people total) inside their cozy 20-foot "Sundog" Yurt building. Gathered around an expansive round table within the circular walls of the yurt, your group will be treated to a memorable experience of food and atmosphere.*
New Scenic Café is part of the North Shore experience. With local artisan expressions throughout, a relaxed comfortable atmosphere, beautiful flower and herb gardens in front and a menu that will satisfy any palate, it has become a destination restaurant for people seeking exceptional food.
Chef Scott Graden does not hesitate to share his cooking artistry with others. Chef Graden is a frequent instructor at North House and has taught at Blue Heron, the Kitchen Window, and the Minnesota State Fair, among other places. His passion for culinary arts, industriousness, and wry humor are revealed in his tutelage. He teaches in systems and philosophies, shifting the focus away from memory-based methods.
