Item Description

Escape for a night to your very own tiny house tucked away on a small Northern Michigan lavender farm. Just minutes from downtown Petoskey and all amenities, yet far enough away that you'll feel relaxed in a peaceful country setting.

The space:  The tiny features a lofted sleeping area, a simple kitchen and bath & an area to hang out and relax. Tiny houses are designed to encourage us to leave behind our attachment to 'things' and get outside a bit and make a memory.

Feel to explore the farm. A walking trail is marked and can be found behind the apple orchard.  The owners live on the farm at the other side of the property. You might see us outside working or walking the dogs, say hi if you feel like it! We also respect that the tiny is a quiet place to getaway from the real world.

Item Special Note

PLEASE NOTE:

- One-night stay, on a Monday through Thursday, August-October 2019.
-The tiny does NOT have wi-fi or internet. They do have great cell phone reception.
-The tiny toilet is a composting toilet - directions are included and its easy to use!
- The water is well water; if you are used to drinking softened city water- you may want to bring your own.
-You must be able to comfortably climb a ladder to get into the sleeping loft.
-The tiny does not have A/C. Plenty of screened windows allow for breezes in the sleeping loft and living areas. There is a ceiling fan and personal fan in the loft. Northern Michigan is known for beautiful temps in the summer with cool evenings, but please prepare for the weather.
-The owners do not allow motorized vehicles for recreation at the farm. They ask that you keep your vehicle on the two track that leads to the tiny & parked in the marked space.
-"Country living" can bring a variety of surprises, none of which are dangerous! But please note; you may hear coyotes at night and occasionally neighbors (who are acres away) utilizing heavy equipment, machinery, firearms or tending to their animals.
