Item Description
This quart of real Vermont maple syrup is Grade A Dark Amber. Excellent for baking, cooking, or on pancakes, waffles or acorn squash. Everything tastes better with Vermont maple syrup on it!
The season to make syrup is fairly short. The sap starts to run in the early spring when days begin to warm and nights are still cold. The sap is collected and boiled until the trees start to bud. Then the season is over until the next year.
It takes 40 gallons of sap to boil down to one gallon of Vermont liquid gold a.k.a. maple syrup.
