A gorgeous, hand-made rayon chenille scarf, woven by an accomplished Albuquerque weaver, blends brilliant shades of red, blue, purple, gold and orange fibers to achieve a rich, colorful accessory to your wardrobe!! 65"L x 7 1/2"W with 4 1/2"fringe.

The weaver learned weaving from skilled and well-known New Mexico weaver, Lucy Ann Warner and has many years' experience weaving her signature scarves.

Several years ago she was active as a mentor in Marketing for a Peruvian group of women, led by Nilda Callanaupa Alvarez of Chinchero, Peru, who wanted to preserve the weaving designs of Peru.

Item Special Note

Nilda founded a textile center in Cusco, Peru and worked tirelessly among the villages to preserve and develop weaving designs. For the last several years she has exhibited at the International Market in Santa Fe. Their work (vests, panchos, table runners, etc.) has come a long way in design, color and finishing. SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE SEEN HER WORK IN SANTA FE AT THE MARKET!!
