A charmed life- an Artist’s Dream.
Evelyn Metzger, lived the life that every artist dreams. Ms Metzger lived and painted to the age of 96 in a building on Park Avenue her father built. She painted as she traveled all over the world. There was a world map in her sitting room with many dots to record her world travels. Her paintings are in many museum collections including Denver Art Museum, Denver, Co., Georgia Museum of Art, U. of Georgia, Athens, Ga., Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center at Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Lowe Art Museum, Coral Gables, Fl. Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, Ca.
The estate of Evelyn Metzger kindly donated many of her paintings to
Art for Healing NYC Int’l Org.
