Item Description

Handmade rag cotton fiber & metal

5" x 7" 2"

A woman's delight! A clutch of bluish-reddish tones, made from 100% handmade cotton fibers with a purple silk interior, brass accented closure and a metal strap-handle.

Liliana Fijman found a classroom in the forms and shapes of nature around her while growing up in South America. At RISD she was introduced to plant fibers for papermaking and artistic expression. The organic forms and processes involved brought up memories from her early childhood that invigorates her curiosity for testing materials. Today Liliana works with cotton and Kozo as a primary medium.
