Item Description
Stoneware
8" x 12" x 12"
This bowl was thrown on the potter's wheel in separate sections and then put together by hand. The bowl was set on the legs at an angle to create the feeling of the waddling motion of our fine feathered friends. I recommend washing this food safe stoneware bowl by hand.
Danika R. Notar-Trinh graduated from Moore College of Art & Design in 1992. She continued her craft by apprenticing, teaching and managing clay studios such as: Chester Springs Art Center and the Frederick School of Pottery. Her current position as Kiln Master at The Steel Yard in RI, has given her the opportunity create new images on functional pottery push the depth of the clay's surface beyond decorative pattern.
