Item Description
This 12" diameter beautifully handpainted Gold Imari plate is painted in gold leaf and ox-blood red, with traditional sakura florals and gosho-guruma designs that embellish the plate in an all-over design. It is truly a collector's piece. This plate has an extra trimmed edge, focusing on the inner three painted panels. Gold Imari craftsmanship has been in existence for over 350 years, and is famous for the meticulous detailing and handpainting on porcelain originating from the island of Kyushu, Japan.
This piece is to be used for decorative purposes only.
