Item Special Note
Daniel Cyrtron (b. 1945) is a graduate of Otis Art Institute who briefly as a draftsman for architect Richard Neutra and then later worked as a studio assistant to Sam Francis. Cytron subsequently set up the Litho Shop for Francis, producing its first prints at his home studio ,and he continued to work with the artist until Francis' death. Daniel Cytron has exhibited at the David Findlay Galleries, New York and the Molly Barnes Gallery, Los Angeles. Most recently the artist enjoyed a retrospective of his large scale paintings and drawings at West Los Angeles College in January 2017.
