Item Description
Digital media
14" x 11" x 1"
"Is This Your Card?" was inspired by David Paul Bradley's "Greasy Grass Premonition," playing cards, and a lack of time or ability to draw a living room, combined with Jake's own perfectionism. Using digital media, he slammed two styles (Impressionism & playing cards) together without any regard for the consequences. Is this Surrealism? Pop Art? I don't know, ask an expert.
Jake Lupus (a.k.a. Benjamin Ramsey) was born one day, and the world has not yet come to regret it. Will they ever? Who knows. Jake has had two exhibitions of his work since last year, which makes five in total. He can often be found drawing, making music, cooking, or worrying if he's ruining things for everyone else. (He isn't right now, we think.)
