About the Artist (excerpted from www.davidclough.com)
David Clough is a watercolorist who seems to be at the right place at the right time in life.
His work shows it.
He paints in the true American spirit of expression, free, lyrical, and spontaneous. It has not always been so. His life, early on was about career and family; and the travel and hospitality industry - hotels, cruise ships, and airlines; a job that took him to many places in the world.
One thing he never lost sight of though, was his love of painting which he began early in life and was fully realized when he dropped out of the business world about 25 years ago and became totally dedicated to his art.
Today, he lives in Maine with his wife, Janet, and continues to capture the essence of the rugged coastline and it's infinite beauty.
