Ongoing Maintenance for the Historic Fairchild-Sweeney Baobab Tree-

This iconic tree dates back to 1926, when David Fairchild first collected the seed for this tree in Dar Es Salaam Tanzania. Blown over in 4 hurricanes including Hurricane Irma, it most recently was set upright last September with an enormous hydraulic crane. The tree has recovered is growing a new crown, and will need rehabilitative pruning for the next 5 years to shape and stabilize its lush canopy. Be part of the restoration efforts by sponsoring part of its annual care and pruning.

Your donation will be used for pruning and maintenance to foster this amazing tree's recovery.

Maintanance for the Baobab is estimated at $1500 per year
