Item Description
Hurricane Irma arrived on our doorstep September 2017, damaging over half of The Kampong's living collections. Especially hard hit were the arid plant collections installed on The Point, where 100% of the succulents and cacti were washed out to sea. The plants were part of the documented living NTBG collections. New plants are needed, including many of the ornamental palms and flowering trees which accented the diverse ground cover plantings.
Replacement succulents and cacti to rebuild the lost collections are estimated $2000.
Replacement flowering trees and palms will are estimated $1800.
