Aloha! Enjoy a one-week stay (7 nights) in a Kauai condo, located at Banyon Harbor on Nawiliwili Bay/Kalapaki Beach in Lihue, Kauai; address is 3411 Wilcox Road. This 1-bedroom/1-bathroom unit is on the second-floor and has a fully-equipped kitchen, living room with cathedral ceiling, two full-size sofa-futons, one bathroom with bathtub/shower and washer-dryer unit, and a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed. There is a lanai between the living room and bedroom looking out at the bay. A pool, barbecue grills, tennis courts and shuffle board are at the top of the complex with amazing views of the bay.
Beach access is across the street and through the park, about 1,000 feet. It is a short walk to the Marriott Resort & Beach Club, and even closer to Duke's Restaurant and Barefoot Bar & Grill, and Cafe Portofino, all with amazing sunset views and outstanding tropical drinks.
There is an ABC store across the street, several restaurants and shops within a very short walk, and about a mile up Rice Street (opposite direction from the airport) is a shopping center with a Star Market (grocery store in the Safeway chain), K-Mart (with great souvenir section), Starbucks, Macy's, Payless Shoes, Long's Drugs, Costco, etc. Various fast food chains and a cinema are across the street from the shopping center. There is also a new Safeway complex behind Home Depot with more shops.
Lihue is centrally located, and the island is small with lots of things to do - horseback riding in Poipu, helocopter rides, luaus, plantation tours, tubing, zip-lining, and Kipu Falls ATV tours through amazing terrain.
The condo is 5 minutes from Lihue airport. The unit is shown in the picture with the words "Banyon Harbor" on it.
