The following may be music to your ears –nestled in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, hugged by trees and mountains, a cozy cabin awaits. Spend hours in creation as you walk the outdoor stone labyrinth. After, take a scenic hike or two mile bike ride to breathtaking Lake Willoughby, named "America's Lucerne.” Come to Shanti (Peace).


Notes about this wonderful stay:

DATES:  The cabin is only open for the season from May 1st to October 1st so the stay has to be between those dates. Other restriction - no holiday weekend (Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day - already booked). Expiration date of the stay is October 2019. Winning bidder will need to submit their requested dates by February 1st. Also note - we will consider well behaved pets.  Listing includes 5 days/4 nights.

LOCATION: Barton, Vermont 05822. The small country town of Barton is 4 miles away where there is a grocery store, hardware store, diner and pharmacy. There is fine dining near Willoughby Lake, approximately 3 miles from the cabin. Burlington VT airport is 1 hour 45 minutes away, Montreal airport is 2 1/2 hours and Manchester NH is 2 1/2 hours.

CABIN DETAILS: Upstairs loft has two twin size beds and modern sleeper sofa for two downstairs. The downstairs living space includes a fully functional kitchen with all utensils including stove, fridge and microwave. There is a full bath with a shower. All linens and towels are provided. Amenities also include wood for campfires, heating, AC and Wifi. Special consideration - cell phone service is limited but most smart phones have wifi calling capabilities.

OTHER FUN FACTS:  Less than an hour away from the cottage and Located in Fitch Bay, near Magog, Bleu Lavande is the largest lavender farm in Canada and the second largest in North America. You can picnic on site, visit the interpretation centre to learn about lavender, the distillery and the boutique.
