So if you have a special someone in your life with whom you want to celebrate an anniversary or a milestone birthday, what better way to show them how much you care than to give them an experience that is offered nowhere else in New England. From the top of the lighthouse you have a 360 view of Newburyport and its harbor.

The package includes your exclusive use of the top of the lighthouse for approximately 5 hours between 5:00 and 10:30 p.m. any evening subject to availability. The lighthouse is open year round, seven days a week. The calendar for 2019 opens on November 1st. Be sure to book early if you are looking for a specific date.

Also included in the package is a $100 gift card from Loretta’s of Newburyport which can be used to select from their menu of regional American cuisine with a flair for seasonal and diverse dishes. All courses will be served by your own private wait staff. If you want to compliment your meal with alcohol, you will need to bring your own bottle. As part of the package you will also receive a membership in The Lighthouse Preservation Society.

After a lovely secluded evening and dinner retire to the Compass Rose Inn to continue your special get-away.  The Compass Rose is a newly constructed federal style Inn perfect for guests seeking something special for those special occasions. The Inn’s accommodations include five well-appointed suites. Each suite consists of three spacious rooms; a cozy sitting room with fireplace, a bedroom with a luxurious pillow top king sized bed and a deluxe private bath and dressing alcove. Enjoy a fresh, homemade breakfast and home baked treats served in the dining room or outside. The Inn maintains its history as a federal style Inn while providing all of the modern day luxuries such as air conditioning, private baths, and WiFi, for the ultimate retreat.  Off street parking is available.
