Monday, February 25, 2019: “Tsunamis or just Undercurrents?” Former Oregon State University President, John Byrne, will review the significant events, global and local, that have touched his life through readings from his just-published memoir.
Presented in the Moreland Gallery at noon in the Benton County Historical Museum in Philomath and are free to members

The 2019 Benton Lectures A World of Ideas series is an educational and entertaining series of four lectures which provide insights and fascinating discussion by a slate of acclaimed and highly qualified speakers, authors and academics talking about the many aspects of the concept and meanings of the world as it was and as it is today.
Sponsors receive recognition; Signage in the Gallery, on the BCHS website, mention in all traditional media and PR materials and on the museum website as well as verbal recognition at each of the lectures at the museum.
