Monday, March 11, 2019: “To Catch a Thief—Part Two: International Art Theft and the FBI” The current Benton County Fairgrounds director, Lynne McKee, served for 8 years in the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s first Rapid Deploy Art Crime Team. Lynne will share more stories of illicit trafficking in stolen artwork through actual FBI cases and undercover operations.
Presented in the Moreland Gallery at noon in the Benton County Historical Museum in Philomath. Lectures are free to members

The 2019 Benton Lectures A World of Ideas series is an educational and entertaining series of four lectures which provide insights and fascinating discussion by a slate of acclaimed and highly qualified speakers, authors and academics talking about the many aspects of the concept and meanings of the world as it was and as it is today.
