Ready for a fun night in Union Square? Hang out at Celeste for a taste of Peru with a huge dose of good cheer.
Celeste, which means “light blue” in Spanish, showcases the history of Peruvian and Andean culture through refined, home-cooked meals made from fresh ingredients. The restaurant opened on in March 2018 after the success of "Kriollo Real," a Peruvian pop-up eatery in the Cambridge home of chef/filmmaker JuanMa Calderon and general director/architect Maria Rondeau. Along with bar producer/writer Paola Ibarra, and creative/artist director Juan Obando, this team of creatives has carefully curated or commissioned every element—its music, artwork, and flavors—to tell a unified story of Peruvian history and cuisine.
