Item Description
This 24" x 36" framed photograph by NYC photographer Mark Manely is rich with visual complexity: beauty, mystery and diversity, NYC buidings are layered one on top of another. Sometimes the best way to see this is not looking directly at it but indirectly. In the graphic geometry created by the overlapping buildings, at the edge of the space where shadow and light meet, in reflections.
Mark Manley is an NYC based photographer who has photographed extensively throughout the world including Afghanistan, Mexico and Africa. Mark is a graduate of the Photojournalism and Documentary program at the International Center Of Photography in New York City. His documentary and fine art work have been exhibited at the Safe-T Gallery, Union Docs Gallery both in Brooklyn New York, the Zimmerli Museum of Art at Rutgers University and the Chester Gallery at New England College in New Hampshire among others.
