Item Description
This is a pair of delicate porcelain Dresden lace figurines made in Germany from 1920 to 1940. One of the most famous techniques of Dresden artists was something called Dresden lace. To create the illusion of real fabric on figurines of women, decorators would dip actual, delicate lace into porcelain slip before applying it by hand to the porcelain figure.
There are some small chips in the lace that are barely detectable.
4.5" high.
