Item Description
The iconic design from the ‘Buffalo Nickel’ or the ‘Indian Head Penny.’ This 1 oz SilverTowne Buffalo round will make a valuable addition to any American Silver collection, especially ones that collect designs depicting the rich heritage of the United States of America. It is manufactured by a well-known private facility in Indiana – the SilverTowne Mint.
Interestingly, the design of this Silver round is taken from the design made by James Earle Fraser, a native of Winona, Minnesota. His inspiration for the scenery in the design were the prairies, he grew up on - wide rolling greens for miles, with cattle grazing peacefully. Also imprinted on this side, around the image, are the words, ‘United States of America,’ ‘E Pluribus Unum,’ and ‘1 oz. 999 Fine Silver.’ Each round is made from 1 troy ounce of pure 0.999 Silver (Ag) and makes a wonderful and thoughtful gift item due to its value and imagery that reminds every American of their rich and diverse culture.
Item shown is exact item up for auction. Shipping charges may apply if not a local pick up.
