2015 Chateau Anna Beaujolais
Friend, let's start off with an I statement. Something like "When work gets mind-numbing, it makes me feel grumpy so what I would like is a glass of wine." Brain match! Come in, friend! Why not choose a place on the rug where you can keep an eye on the walking sticks and maybe play with some magna-tiles? Later we can go to the park and get a little silly. I have just the thing for you, friend. Anna thinks it might taste even better if you take a risk and share some with her.
(Juliénas Tradition Domaine du Clos du Fief 2015, Michel et Sylvain Tete -- the perfect red for Thanksgiving turkey)
2017 Sancerre, Appellation Laleña Controlée
A crisp white wine suitable for a variety of settings: thrashing through a huge wave at Newport Beach, contemplating the most developmentally appropriate way to support students as learners and activists, or knitting some sweet, sweet socks. After a glass of this you will understand what your kid is doing with the Sounds in Motion, and you might even join in.
(Pierre Prieur et fils 2017 Sancerre La Damnée des Prieur (so named because the slopes of the vineyard are terribly, terribly steep) -- the fruits and minerals are exactly what you want out of a Sancerre. People pair it with seafood, but it's just good)
