Item Description
A curated selection of two Pinot Noir bottles honoring the teachers of the 5-6s
2014 Pinot Laura
The rainy shores of the Pacific Northwest have produced some outstanding grapes, and also Laura: Pinot Noir and pedagogy, fancy wine and fancy math. It's not so much the wine you drink to run a post office or do a bird study; it's the wine you drink when you have finally gotten your kid to bed in spite of all the excitement about the post office and the bird study. We on the Auction Committee happen to know it drinks particularly well right after Farm Festival.
(Benton Lane Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2014 -- classic Pinot Noir cherry with cedar and floral notes, remarkable balance.)
2016 Pinot Reese
Guitar music in a glass. Play on, my friends. Play on.
(Pierre André Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vielles Vignes 2016 -- we on the Auction Committee buy this stuff by the case -- delicious and versatile, an ideal cocktail wine.)
