Hear the story first-hand of how and why Debra started Seedlings in her basement in Detroit in 1984, how Seedlings' braille book production has changed from its humble beginnings to now, and about the impact Seedlings has had on braille literacy worldwide.
Debra has won numerous awards including the prestigious Bolotin Award from the National Federation of the Blind, which goes to innovators in the blindness field; the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Distinguished Service Award; Harlequin's More Than Words Program Award, "Michiganian of the Year" Award from the Detroit News; and the First Citizen Award from The Livonia Observer.
Tour and lunch are for Debra and two other people.
