Item Description
Elegantly matted and framed, this view of Groton Main Street is ready to hang. If you live in town or have ties here, you will enjoy this view of the iconic buildings on Main Street--The Town Hall, The Old Post Office, The Library, The Unitarian Church and Lawrence Academy. Those familiar with the town will note that these landmarks are not sited as they actually appear, but form a sort of Groton reimagined.
From New England Artist, Kathleen McNally: "Over the past 25 years I have painted over 3000 homes from Maine to Hawaii, Australia to Scotland. In addition to my watercolor house portraits, I continue to add to my line of prints – cityscapes, town scenes, and historic sites. My artwork is best known for its striking detail with rich color combinations and wonderful use of sunlight and shadow. As an artist, I am recognized for my fine art watercolors and am an established architectural renderer. My clients include celebrated sports stars, a famous film director and a former United States President.
Lithograph is 33" by 17 1/2". It is signed and numbered 40/300. In excellent pre-owned condition.
