This is a matted, printed item suitable for framing.
This soliloquy was authored by John Volker (1903-1991), a former Michigan Supreme Court justice. Volker, pen named Robert Traver, is well known for his book, “Anatomy of a Murder” published in 1958.
Volker was an avid fly fisherman and was said to have fished five or six days a week for 20 years. Volker was profiled in an “On the Road” segment with Charles Kuralt, who described Voelker as “the nearest thing to a great man I’ve ever known”.
The items measures 10.5" W by 14" H with a 2.75" matt.
