Private Baseball Session with Former MLB Catcher Eric Munson

Eric Munson was a High School USA Today first team All-American at Mt. Carmel in San Diego and was selected in the second round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Atlanta Braves in 1996. Eric elected to go to college at USC, where he earned honors as an first team All-American catcher, two time Team USA member, and 1998 College World Series Champion.

Eric was the third overall pick in the 1999 MLB draft by the Detroit Tigers and made his Major League debut on July 18, 2000. Eric played multiple positions during his career. After parts of nine years in the Major Leagues, and 12 total seasons of professional baseball, Eric retired and began coaching at USC (2011-2012) and currently at the University of Dubuque. In the summer of 2013, Eric served as the Assistant Coach of the USA Baseball 18U National Team. They won the 2013 IBAF World Cup and gold medal in Taiwan.
