Cowboy Supper Chuckwagon

Our new venues strive to keep you outside but the new saloon calls you to sit a spell with your favorite libation. The Copper Spur Saloon encourages you to experience a bit of Western character — a notable feature in almost every early settlement in the West. As charming as the saloon is, the aroma of our flame-broiled chicken and ribs will soon turn your attention to the rustic splendor of the dining hall.

Gates open at 5:00 p.m. so you can stroll along the western boardwalk lined with a variety of shops, visit the museum, learn to lasso a steer, toss a horseshoe and then belly up to the bar at the Copper Spur saloon. Visit the Petroglyphs Park, Native American Camp & Gold Tooth Mining Camp before dinner.

At 6:30 p.m. you and 279 other pioneers are invited to sit inside our climate-controlled barn for a Western-style meal reminiscent of one served around a campfire over a century ago. We’ll ask you to grab a tin plate and head through the chuckwagon where you’ll be served Arizona’s best chicken and ribs, baked potato with butter and sour cream, cowboy beans, luscious biscuits and our signature seasonal salad.

Wash it all down with complimentary lemonade, iced tea or coffee, or purchase another beverage from the bar located in the barn. Our ranch hands will entertain you with flying biscuits before we bring you caramel apple crisp to round out your dining experience.

Entertainment- Western Music Cowboy Show

After dinner the lights dim and the Western stage show begins featuring the Blazin’ M Cowboys. For one hour these talented musicians share their musical skills mixed with cowboy poetry and humor. They revel in the opportunity to show the audience what fun the Western frontier can be before the Ghost Rider appears. When the stage show is over the fun doesn’t stop. Take this opportunity to get an autograph from the Blazin’ M Cowboys, grab a drink or sneak a peek at the Ghost Rider.

About The Blazin’ M Ranch

The property was originally settled as a dairy and cattle ranch in the late 1800s. In 1966 Chuck Mabery purchased the property. After dabbling in cattle, the Mabery family grew and sold organic vegetables. Following the 100-year flood of 1993, most of the cultivated land was washed away. The musically-inclined family turned their talents into a new venue by creating Blazin’ M Chuckwagon Dinner Theater.

The Old West town was constructed in that same year under the direction of Doug Wright, a schoolmate and close family friend of Dan Mabery. Many of the building materials were recycled from Hollywood movie sets that Doug had helped construct.

In 1994 the Ranch opened with a chuckwagon-style dinner and live Western stage show. Most of the original band members have retired but their love of country music and cowboy humor has endured and become a staple of the Ranch.

During the fall of 2010 under the management of Copper Spur LLC, the Ranch underwent an extensive upgrade with upscale merchandise in new shops, additional activities and an enhanced museum. The menu was revived with southwestern signature dishes and the entertainment was updated with new music and cowboy humor.
