Item Description
Antique hand colored lithographs by J.W. Hill are beautiful matted, framed and ready to hang. Pictured in Plate 111 are the Blue Winged Teal and the Wood Duck; in plate 115 the Bastard Broad Bill and the Canvass Back Duck.
These prints are from the second volume of the comprehensive work "The Zoology of New York or The New York Fauna", by James E. De Kay, and published in Albany, New York in 1844. This volume deals with birds and is one of only 300 copies with hand colored plates by J.W. Hill.
Framed prints measure 15 3/4" x 12 3/4".
