Item Description

Nicholas Mosse Pottery was established by Nicholas Mosse in 1976 after periods of training in England and Japan. His mission was to produce beautiful, functional pottery in the style of Irish Spongeware. Irish spongeware was the traditional pottery of Ireland used in the 18th Century. It was mainly made in simple honest shapes with a decoration applied with a cut sponge.  Today every piece of Nicholas Mosse Pottery is handmade in Ireland.

The Kilfane Rose Pattern is a retired pattern, adding value to this hard to find set. This small pitcher and bowl set are in perfect, new condition, ready to add to your collection or to be used as a beautiful serving pieces. Makes a lovely cream and sugar set.

Details: Pitcher measures 3" tall, 1 3/4" diameter at the base, 2 1/2" diameter at the top, 3" at it's widest point. The bowl measures 2 1/4" tall, 1 3/4" diameter at the base, and 4" diameter at the top. Bases are hallmarked Nicholas Mosse.  Condition: New, no cracks, chips, or crazing.
