Tammy Picone Nohelty is an art instructor in the Marblehead Public Schools Fine Arts department. She holds degrees in Advertising/Design from Chamberlayne College, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Photography from Montserrat College of Art, and a Master of Education in Visual Arts from Salem State College.
Prior to teaching in the Marblehead Public Schools, Tammy served on the staff of Montserrat College of Art as Registrar, Coordinator of Special Student Services, and a member of the Continuing Education Faculty. She has taught alternative photographic methods at Montserrat College of Art, the Griffin Museum of Photography, the Marblehead Arts Association, and the young artists program at Montserrat College of Art. From 1992 to 2011, Tammy was a photography teacher and curriculum director for the Arts at Tower children's summer programs at Tower School in Marblehead.
